In celebration of Zoellner Arts Center's 25th anniversary, Lehigh University honored the Fowler family before a performance of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical by Lehigh's Mustard and Cheese Drama Society in the Black Box Theatre on March 25, 2023.
W. Beall Fowler ‘59 ’85P ’89P ’16GP and his late wife, Marlene “Linny” Fowler '03H '84P '89P '16GP, provided the versatile Black Box Theatre in Zoellner Arts Center. The family supports the center’s community and outreach programs.
Fowler, a Lehigh faculty member, former dean, and longtime benefactor of Bethlehem’s South Side neighborhood, continues to champion the power of the arts in community engagement, with a special focus on education, children, and at-risk youth.
