On April 21, 2016, the Lehigh University Wall Street Council hosted their annual spring reception at Upper Story by Charlie Palmer in New York City. This year's reception marked the beginning of a new tradition — the awarding of the Professor James A. Greenleaf Award, which honors the influential finance professor who passed away on July 22, 2015. This year's award was presented to David D. Beard '80 '11P. The evening included remarks from Wall Street Council president Andrew Fife '85, vice president Mike Connor '80 '14P, and keynote speaker, vice chair of the Lehigh University Board of Trustees and former interim president, Kevin Clayton '84 '13P.
