On March 31, PwC Chairman Tim Ryan delivered a message on the importance of diversity and inclusion in Packard Laboratory, Lehigh University.

The event also familiarized attendees with Lehigh’s current work in developing and rolling out a Certificate Program for Inclusive Excellence for undergraduate and graduate students.

In addition to Ryan’s keynote address, additional speakers in a panel discussion included Latoria J. Farmer, executive director of human resources, inclusion and diversity for KPMG, LLP; Bernard L. Lopez, associate provost for diversity and inclusion at Thomas Jefferson University and associate dean for diversity and community engagement, professor and executive vice chair of the department of emergency medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson; Darlene McKinnon, director of global diversity and inclusion and talent management at Air Products; and Hussein K. Mecklai, vice president of the platform engineering group and general manager of the product architecture group at the Intel Corporation.

James B. Peterson, director of Africana Studies at Lehigh and associate professor of English, moderated the panel discussion.
