On April 24, 2019, Lehigh donors and their scholarship recipients gathered in Iacocca Hall to get to know each other and share their Lehigh experiences.
During a panel presentation, Lehigh University Board of Trustees member Karen Shihadeh Schaufeld '83 '15P '17P spoke about the special relationship the Schaufeld family has with their scholarship recipients and how important it is to bring students from different backgrounds together. Also on the panel were Jacob Schaufeld '15 and Schaufeld scholarship recipients Tariq Al-Serhan '21, Rafi Naber '22, and Lama Nassar '16 who shared their experiences. The program was moderated by Joseph Buck, vice president of development and alumni relations.
