Two chartered busloads of Lehigh University students traveled from South Mountain to Lower Manhattan to gain insight and network with industry leaders in the commercial real estate industry. The event, hosted by Tara Stacom ’80, executive vice chairman, Cushman & Wakefield, and Lehigh University Board of Trustees member, featured keynote speaker Marc Holliday ’88, chairman and CEO of SL Green Realty Corp. Holliday spoke about his experiences shaping the fabric and skyline of New York City and answered students’ questions about the industry. The annual event was sponsored by the Stacom Family Speaker Series.

Nearly 300 people attended the event that included Lehigh Board of Trustees members James Maida ’85 ’17P ’19P and Peter Morales ’82 and Georgette Chapman Phillips, Kevin L. Clayton ’84 ’13P and Lisa A. Clayton ’13P Dean of the College of Business and Economics.

Stacom, Holliday, and McKay Price, director of the Murray H. Goodman Center for Real Estate Studies, honored retired director Stephen Thode at the event for his contributions to the education of real estate students at Lehigh.
