In recognition of the legacy of their great-grandfather, R.K. Laros, who established the R.K. Laros Foundation to benefit the community, Lehigh students and cousins Janelle Laros ’21, Truman Shelton ’21, and Alexandra Ladda ’21 presented two gifts from the foundation to the university on November 8, 2018. Not in attendance were cousins Peik Shelton ’18 and Russell Laros ’18, who helped with the decision to create The R.K. Laros Foundation Inc. Endowed Prize Fund for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation, to be awarded to students participating in learning opportunities in the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation. In keeping with the community service mission of the foundation, the five also contributed a generous gift toward the Community Service offices that will be located in the renovated Clayton University Center at Packer Hall.
