In celebration of Zoellner Arts Center's 25th anniversary, Lehigh University honored the Baker family before a performance by Michael Feinstein celebrating the Judy Garland centennial on Nov. 5.

Dexter Baker ’50 ’57G, was president and CEO of Air Products, and served on the Lehigh Board of Trustees for nearly 40 years. He passed away in 2012. Dexter’s wife, Dorothy, sang in the Bach Choir in Bethlehem and served on many Lehigh Valley performing arts organizations. She passed away in 2020.

The Bakers were co-chairs of the $33 million capital campaign for Zoellner Arts Center. Baker Hall at ZAC is named for them. They established the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation at Lehigh in 2010.
