The BALANCE Banquet, held during the Rivalry 150th celebration in New York City on November 20, brought together approximately 140 alumni, undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff from the Lehigh community. A brief clip of the documentary Out of the Shadows: A Prelude to Engineering Equality was shown. A panel consisting of Georgette Chapman Phillips, the Clayton Dean of the College of Business and Economics; Dr. Peter Likins, former president of Lehigh University; Maria Chrin '87 '10P, founder and managing partner of Circle Wealth Management, LLC; and Safiya Jafari Simmons '03, CEO of Kidous Consulting, LLC, discussed the campus climate as well as changes made over the years.
