Alumni, parents, and friends gathered in London on June 1, 2017, to discuss the Business of Brexit with panelists Aneesh Varma '06, Gilles Acogny '85G, Penney Frohling '85, Andy Worth '99GV, and moderator Todd Watkins, executive director of the Martindale Center and Arthur F. Searing Professor of Economics at Lehigh University. Current students and faculty (including the 2017-2018 Martindale Student Associates) and alumni spent the evening discussing the very timely topic and its implications on the industries of the panelists, as well as the broader global community. Key points of discussion centered around passporting, immigration, trade and tariffs, and geopolitical implications on the move.
