On Thursday, January 21, 2016, Lehigh University hosted a reception and panel discussion on A Mountaintop Initiative: Xiphias Supercar Concept in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C. John Coulter, interim dean of the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science moderated the panel, which included William Best, professor of practice of mechanical engineering and co-director of IDEAS, and Robert Vargo '14, one of the members of the Xiphias project during the first summer of Lehigh's Mountaintop initiative.
