Lehigh students, faculty, and staff met on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, to mingle and share how the performing and visual arts at Lehigh can open minds to new ideas and ways of experiencing the world. Guests were invited to explore the Newel showroom and participate in interactive experiences representing the arts at Lehigh, including art, architecture, and design; theatre; and music.

Special thanks to the following people for making this evening possible: Lewis Baer '72 '07P '15P, managing principal of Newel, who graciously offered his spectacular New York City showroom of decorative arts and antiques for this wonderful evening of cultural networking. Donald E. Hall, Herbert J. and Ann L. Siegel Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, who provided the opening remarks. Our Lehigh faculty who engaged guests in several interactive experiences, including Anna Chupa, chair and professor of Art, Architecture and Design; Anthony Viscardi, professor of Art, Architecture and Design; Erica Hoelscher, chair and professor of Theatre; Dr. Tong Soon Lee, chair of the Department of Music; Nadine Sine, professor in the Department of Music; Michael Jorgensen, professor of practice in Orchestral Strings; Andy Cassano, administrative director of Zoellner Arts Center; and Deborah Sacarakis, artistic director of Zoellner Arts Center.
