On Tuesday, March 8, Lehigh alumni gathered at the Washington National Opera for an event hosted by Anne Kline '81, an executive board member of the Washington National Opera. The event featured a cocktail reception at Rivers at the Watergate, where guests were treated to arias performed by two members of the Washington National Opera's Young Artist Program, as well as remarks from Dr. Paul Salerni, Lehigh's Professor of Music and National Endowment for the Humanities Distinguished Chair in the Humanities. Following the cocktail reception, guests were treated to the production of Madama Butterfly at the Kennedy Center.
